Evangelism Part 3: Violence

Violence is an offense

Violence is an offense about Nations against Nations that has twofold aspects. The  Bible expresses about countries against another country, people against people, an intolerable act of the powerful against a weaker nation. Communism versus Freedom, people that fear God and those that don’t.

God is the most powerful of all and no one can deny His power and existence. The wicked can freely invade other territories and God allows it for a reason. It does not give the wicked the reason to celebrate but to remind the occupied what they did wrong. There is no way that a righteous person will transgress another righteous being.  There is no way that God will use a righteous person to do wicked things.

Many call God in times of need and forget about Him when things are doing great. Some people ask for forgiveness when they feel that they have to do it.  Conscience is a big part of this act. Many said that people without conscience do not show some remorse for what they do. Some people ask forgiveness before they even sinned and we can call this an intentional act of a deceiver or a deliberate plan to sin.

From civil government to house of worship, corruption is a prevalent offense against society. This behavior of the leaders is already considered normal and even diagnosed as an incurable social illness. The sad part is that it influences the young mind and becomes a precedent to the future. Who can resist easy money and happy life when there is evidence that they can get away with doing it. They forget that the only Judge is watching and they cannot deny it because God does not lie with the testimony of the Son, the faithful witness. We can count on the angels too.

Saints and Sinners are waging the battle for supremacy to get into the throne of righteousness. Saints claim righteousness in serving God, while the righteousness of the wicked is to continue the purpose of the great deceiver,  the world of sins, the world without love. They also called this world the kingdom. The great deceiver and his minion can also do miracles, prophecies, healing, and promises of luck towards gaining wealth.

Savagery, brutality, ferocity, cruelty, and controlling the mind of the weak to do disturbances, looting, fighting, and many other forms of cruelty to humans are caused by violence perfected by the father of lies and his followers. Violent behavior is the absence of fear or respect for our Almighty Creator. Why does God allows these things to happen when we faithfully believe that He is controlling, and by just saying the word this behavior against humanity can easily be wipeout?

Those who believe in God, our Father gave us free will,  but we are using this gift to help the enemies of faith to do their work without delay. This world is ruled by the prince of the air and we are considered the rebel of his kingdom. The wicked workers also know that humans are all sinners and that is their advantage to get us to fall easily.

If violence or sinning is part of our nature, how can we get this out of our system? How can we fight our bodies? It seems a losing battle. This world is God’s domain temporarily given to the father of lies to rule. We have to continue to fight the good fight of faith and praise God for being the ultimate source of power and salvation in times of trouble. God will never leave us nor forsake us in times like we are experiencing that seem never-ending violence.

God is always working in our lives. He is faithful to His word. When we fall, He is there to pick us up and His mighty hands will hold us until we can standstill. He knows what we need, what we are going through, the pain and sufferings that sometimes we humans cannot bear.   If we are truly committed to Him, we have to continue to live by His Word, God’s promises will be received in due time and let our heart speak with His heart in all circumstances and He will help us to overcome all the obstacles in our life until we meet Him face to face.

The word of God said with assurance recorded in Psalm 46:5—“God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”  God is addressing this scripture to the His church which is us on earth, as well as to the City prepared for us in heaven.

“Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.” “The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower].” Psalm46:1011 (AMP).

Let us praise and worship Him our Father in heaven with these Psalms written for our guidance in meditation and prayers. It works for David and it will work for us too.

1. Psalm 20:8 -Those nations will fall and collapse, but we will rise and stand firm.

2. Proverbs 24:16- for though a righteous man falls seven times, he will rise again, but the wicked stumble into calamity.

3. Psalm 37:23-24- The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand.

4. Psalm 63:7-8- for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings, I will sing for joy. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.

5. Psalm 118:13-14- I was pushed hard, so that I was falling, but the LORD helped me. The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.

6. Psalm 145:14-16- The LORD helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads. The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it. When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.

7. Psalm 146:8- The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts those who are weighed down. The LORD loves the godly.

God is all in all.
